This Bar Mitzvah invitation from INVITINGLEE is a FAVORITE and let me tell you why...

First, I love the "dress code" on the invitation - Dress: Up - how adorable!  Next, if you look down at the bottom left corner of the invitation, you can see that the RSVPs are done by email.  Email RSVPS are becoming a common practice for events such as Mitzvahs, Sweet 16s and Showers.  While I still don't recommend email RSVPs for weddings, I think that they are perfectly acceptable for other events, especially if you set up a unique email address especially for you event.  These days it is just as much fun to check for email as it is to check the mailbox for RSVPS.  Email RSVPs are also a great way to "green" your event and save a little money on printing and return postage.

This logo was created for Charlie's destination Bar Mitzvah in St. Thomas.  Doesn't a destination Bar Mitzvah in St. Thomas sound fabulous?  Well Charlie's friends and family who made the trip thought so and they proudly wore their Chillin with Charlie shirts around the island.

I created this logo for Adam, an all around athlete who loves football, baseball and basketball.  I love the the orange, white and navy color combination.  This logo looked amazing on the navy blue t-shirts that Adam gave his friends as party favors.

Full Service Event Planner...He or she will help you with the entire planning process, from the very beginning to the happily ever after.  If you are planning to hire a Full Service Event Planner it is best to hire them sooner than later in the planning process.  A Full Service Event Planner will help you with the big decisons such as location, entertainment, decor and food, as well as the small decisions such as favors, escort cards and out-of-town hotel bags.  A Full Service Event Planner will hold your hand every step of the way and offer their event expertise and industry contacts (and often their industry discounts).  Since you will be sharing the planning process of your very special event with a Full Service Planner, I can not stress enough how important it is to choose the right person for the job. Just because a friend had a great experience with Planner X does not mean that Planner X is right for you.  For example, some planners prefer to work with large budgets and other planners see small budgets as an exciting challenge.  It is so important that you choose a full service planner who appreciates your style and "clicks" with your personality.  Do your research and find the the right event planner for you and your event.

Day of Coordinator...Let me start by saying that if you are hiring a Day of Coordinator who tells you after you hire her (or him) that it was great to meet you and they will see you on the day of your event, then you are hiring the wrong person.  Contrary to popular belief, a "Day of Coordinator" should really be at least a "Month of" of "A Few Weeks Before" Coordinator.  A  good "Day of/Month of Coordinator" should meet with you a few weeks before your event to go over all of the plans that you made on your own.  She or he will then review all of your vendor contracts and create an itinerary for your event.  Your "Day of/Month of Coordinator" will then become the contact for your all of your vendors.  Once he or she is hired, it will no longer be your problem to confirm set-ups, deliveries and pick-ups - you can sit back and enjoy everything during the days that lead up to your event.  Of course, it goes without saying that this person will be on-site at your event to be sure that everything runs smoothly.

Whichever type of event professional you choose, I can not stress enough that this person is there to make the process easier on you.  Your Event Planner or Coordinator should not cause stress, fear or anxiety.  Events such as weddings, mitzvahs, showers and sweet 16s  are meant to be enjoyed, and with a little (or a lot) of help from the right event professional,  your celebration (and the event planning process leading up to it) will be fabulous.
