FAVORITE THINGS is a daily blog, brought to you by the PARTY FAVORITES team, which showcases what we feel is the "best of the best" in the DC-area special events industry.  The blog is a mix of real event highlights from our PARTY FAVORITES PORTFOLIO members, industry trends, product reviews, inspiration and ideas from nationally recognized event industry professionals and practical party advice.

The pre-screened, pre-approved group of special event professionals who make up the PARTY FAVORITES PORTFOLIO are featured extensively throughout FAVORITE THINGS, although not exclusively.  It is not a secret that our incredibly talented and client-focused PARTY FAVORITES PORTFOLIO members pay a yearly membership fee to be a part of our exclusive and limited PARTY FAVORITES PORTFOLIO. One of the benefits of their membership is that they have the opportunity to Guest Blog on FAVORITE THINGS up to four times a month.  This gives you a chance to get to know both their work and their personalities.  How much or how little each member chooses to guest blog is at their discretion.  We also use our PARTY FAVORITES PORTFOLIO members as resources for the content we create for FAVORITE THINGS.  This is because after all of the research we do during the screening process, we feel 110% confident about our member's ideas, opinions and expertise.  We are so proud to represent the special event professionals who make up to PARTY FAVORITES PORTFOLIO.  We will always let you know exactly who they are.

FAVORITE THINGS also frequently features non-member special event professionals, products and resources.  We adhere to the same strict guidelines which apply to our PARTY FAVORITES PORTFOLIO members when it comes to client service.  We love these special event professionals, products and resources too-they just may not be a perfect fit for our PARTY FAVORITES PORTFOLIO at this moment.  That does not mean that they would not be a perfect fit for your event. You can also be assured that we do not accept monetary gifts or free products in exchange for favorable reviews or publicity.
